Roland Tam Roland has over 10 years experience in M&A and corporate strategy, across the consulting, corporate and private equity sectors. Roland began his career in management consulting with Tillinghast Towers Perrin, focusing on institutional banking and insurance clients. At Tillinghast, key assignments included the valuation report of BT Funds Management and advisory work for the acquisition of a financial planning group. Following this, Roland joined NYSE listed global payments multi-national, First Data Corporation, (FDC), where his assignments included the acquisition of BankWest's merchant portfolio, and the integration of Cashcard, an ATM business purchased from private equity owners in 2004. Roland has been with Next Capital since 2005 and in his time with the firm has been involved in the investment of over $600m across 5 investments in Next Capital I. Roland is actively involved in the management of the Steelforce, NZ Rental Group and Onsite investments.
