Next Capital is an independent private equity firm specialising in providing capital for later-stage expansion and small-to-mid market buyouts.
Next Capital has two funds operating at this time:
Next Capital I
- A$265 million raised from institutional investors (October 2005).
- 91% of capital called, six transactions completed (closed for new investments).
Next Capital II
- A$285 million raised from institutional investors (June 2009).
- Committed capital is currently available for investment.
Target deals are:

Businesses managed from Australia and NZ with EVs between A$50 million and A$250 million.

Focus: later stage expansion capital and small to mid-cap buy-out funding.

Seek to back strong management teams (either incumbent or external).
